Coker College Band Earth Day Concert

Celebrate Earth Day with a musical program of nature, Earth, and world peace inspired songs performed by The Coker College Concert Band on Sunday, April 22, 2018 at 4:00pm in the Watson Theater of the Elizabeth Boatwright Coker Performing Arts Center on the college’s Hartsville Campus. The concert will conclude with Michael Jackson, “Heal the World” featuring members of the Mayo HS for MST Concert Choir and Phoenix Phame Show Choir. The 65 member Coker College Concert Band, directed by Kelly Jokisch, is composed of a combination of Coker College student and community musicians. Community members include local professionals, music educators, band directors, choir directors, ministers of music, Coker College faculty members along with local students from Darlington High School, Hartsville High School, McBee High School, the Governor’s School for Science and Mathematics and Florence District One. The event is free and open to the public.
